What is SkinPen?

Microneedling is an aesthetic medical procedure that involves repeatedly

puncturing the skin with tiny sterile needles to induce tissue remodelling

via collagen and elastin production.

 How many sessions do I need?

Minimum of 3 sessions to get best results 1 hour each session.

Is it painful and what can I expect?

No, we use pharmaceutical topical LA applied 45 minutes prior to

treatment being carried out. This makes treatment bearable.

Side effects last for 24 hours including flushing and redness (like a

sunburn) some small patches maybe visible after 24 hours but will

disappear within 48 hours. Natural exfoliation of the skin occurs for 72

hours after. Make up can be applied 24 hours after last treatment

Usually it’s good to have treatment done first thing in the morning so by

the next day you can go about your normal day.

SkinPen was launched in America in 2013 and is the only FDA approved

pen which has been proven to have no backflow of blood. It works as it is

based on science. Microneedling has been around since 2000.

Cost?

Sessions cost £150 and require a minimum of 3 to be booked to get best

results. Included in these sessions are aftercare creams and 0.5ml of lip

filler by Juverderm. (Filler at a separate appointment)
